Foxwynd Foundation Awards $50,000 Grant to Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue
Quakertown, PA — Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue (LCR) has received a $50,000 grant to support its lifesaving programs for animals in need. This is the second grant awarded to LCR, following a successful $35,000 grant in 2024 that directly supported medical care and equipment for critically ill animals.
The 2026 grant will fund key initiatives essential to LCR’s operations, including:
• Emergency Medical Care ($10,000): Hospitalization, surgery, and treatments for animals arriving from owners or partner shelters.
• Equipment Purchases ($15,600): Replacement of an aging John Deere Gator to support daily farm operations and improve safety and efficiency.
• Hay and Grain ($15,000): Ensuring proper nutrition and warmth for equines and barnyard animals through the winter months.
• Vaccines and Medications ($4,400): Covering core vaccines and treatments for animals entering care.
• Spay and Neuter Surgeries ($5,000): Supporting procedures for dogs and cats to improve long-term health and adoption outcomes.
“This grant reflects our ongoing partnership with Last Chance Ranch and supports their mission to provide urgent care and stability for animals in need,” said Pamela Villagra, Executive Director of Foxwynd Foundation. “We are proud to continue supporting their work and to help enhance the health and well-being of the animals in their care.”
The grant was awarded through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) of the Foxwynd Foundation, which supports organizations aligned with the Foundation’s mission to enhance key pillars of human dignity and potential, including healthcare, housing, and sustainable initiatives.
