Meet our Instructors
Carly has been riding since the age of 5 and grew up through the United States Pony Club. She graduated from Wilson College with dual majors in Equine Studies and Equestrian Management. Through years in the United States Pony Club, she's been teaching primarily english lessons for 10 years but has had experience in a multitude of disciplines and brings that to the ring to ensure each rider has an individualized experience.
Marie went to Delaware Valley University where she was a member of the IHSA team. She has been riding with Last Chance Ranch for over 5 years and has been assisting with beginner riding lessons for the last 3 years. Marie's favorite thing is riding all of our ponies and jumping!

Originally a stray from Philadelphia (believe it or not!) this super cute pony is now teaching all sorts favorite at LCR! He is used for mostly beginner lessons as he has a steady pace and likes to go slow.
Likes: Belly and neck scratches

Triple has been in our lesson program for 2 years and is an awesome lesson horse. He can walk, trot, canter, AND likes to jump. He is used for our intermediate to advanced riders.
Likes: Putting things in his mouth
Dislikes: Fly spray
Big boy Finnegan is new to our program as of 2017 but has the sweetest temperament! Finn is a 16.2 hand Standardbred/Percheron cross that was rescued at auction. Even though he is new to our program, he is a perfect gentleman and can't wait to help teach our students how to ride!
Dislikes: Trail rides
Cody is a 12 year old paint horse who is privately owned by one of our wonderful volunteers. He's been a lesson horse at LCR for several months and is the most in-your-pocket kind of boy. Cody is blind in one eye but that doesn't stop him! This handsome boy walks, trots, canters and jumps and doesn't miss a beat.
