LCR regularly participates in various Pet Fairs, Community Days, Horse Expos and Shows, and other types of events within the local region throughout the year. In addition, LCR holds its own special events such as the LCR Open House Expo and the LCR Rabies Clinic.


If you would like LCR to attend an event, please email us. Please understand that we try to make as many events as we can, but we do need advance notice to organize our volunteers and arrange transportation for the animals.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny- Saturday, March 10th from 9am to 11am

At TCHS Brandywine - 443 Boot Road. Downingtown PA

Hosted by Students involved with the Skills USA program at the Technical College High School Brandywine. This event will be fun for the whole family, including face painting, egg hunt, raffles and pictures with the Easter Bunny. The proceeds from this event benefit Last Chance Ranch. Spring Vaccine Clinic - Saturday, March 17th, 2018 from 10am to 3pm

Dog Vaccines include: Rabies $10, Distemper $15, Distemper w/ lepto & corona $18, Lyme $20, Bordetella $15, K9 Flu $15. Cat Vaccines include: Rabies $10, Distemper $15, Feline Leukemia $15. Testing includes K9 4DX Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia & AP- $25, Feline FIV & Feline Leukemia- $20. Bravecto Flea & Tick for Cats and Dogs- $80 for 6 months, $150 for 1 year. Self Care for Animal Caregivers Class- Saturday, March 17th, 2018 from 10:30-11:30

Presented by Sue Ann Seccia-Harnden, Reiki Master, SARA Animal Reiki Practitioner, of Firth Dimension Healing Energy. This class is ideal for pet parents, pet sitters, groomers, vet techs, shelter/rescue staff & volunteers or anyone who loves and takes care of animals! This class focuses on you, the caregiver, so you can manager and alleviate compassion fatigue, worry, and stress about the animals in your care. Learn how to take care of yourself so you can better take care of your animals. Support a great animal wellness organization too! Class fee is $10 per person and free for LCR Staff & Volunteers! Introduction to Animal Reiki- Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12:30am to 3:00

At Last Chance Ranch

Taught by Sue Ann Seccia-Harnden, Reiki Master, SARA Animal Reiki Practitioner, of Firth Dimension Healing Energy. No prior Reiki experience or training is required. This class is ideal for anyone wishing to understand how to offer natural healing to animals in a way that is empowering for them. Learn how to use mindfulness based, meditative techniques to create connection and a space for healing with your animals. Have fun learning new skills for helping and healing the animals in your life! This class will allow plenty of time for practice using LCR animals! 25% of the net class proceeds will be donated to Last Chance Ranch. The cost of the registration is $99. English VS. Western Introduction- Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:30am to 12pm

Come join us for an informational session about the differences of English vs. Western riding. This $35 session will be taught by Carly our lesson instructor with a background in eventing/dressage and Chris a LCR volunteer with a background in reining. Paws N Claws 911 Pet CPR & First Aid Class- Sunday, March 25th, 2018- 12-4pm

At Last Chance Ranch

This class is designed for anyone with an interest in "pawtecting" the safety and wellness of animals. Training is geared towards Pet Parents, Pet Care Professionals (Groomer, Sitter, Walker, Vet Tech), Animal Rescue Group Volunteers and Emergency Service Personnel (No prior training or experience is required). Taught by a 25+ year seasoned pre-hospital care provider and educator, this class includes lecture, demonstration and an emphasis on hands-on skills practice to ensure your proficiency in the life saving skills presented. Hands-On Skills Practiced: Emergency Muzzling & Restraint, The ABC's of Pet Emergency Care, CPR(Canine & Feline), Rescue Breathing, Choking Management, Bleeding Control/Shock Management.

Advanced Pet First Aid- Sunday, May 20th, 2018 from 12-3pm

This is an advanced class for those who have attended one of the previous Paws N Claws 911 classes hosted at LCR or another location. Hands-on training features a review of key basic skills (CPR, muzzling, tourniquets), teaches advanced skills (impalements, fractures) and scenario based hands-on skills challenges.
